Helpie FAQ

frequently-asked-questions

  • Are dogs allowed into the Festival?

We love our dogs too! But No! With the obvious exception of Certified Service Animals, this is a park rule so please leave your dogs at home.

  • Are the Kids' Activities FREE?

Children 14 and under have a FREE admission price into the Festival. But the providers of special activities like the bounce house zone and pony rides charge their own individual prices for their services.

  • Are tickets available at the Gate or may we purchase them in advance?

You may purchase non-refundable but transferrable tickets either in advance at Eventbrite (their fee applies) OR at the gate (cash only but we have ATM if needed). The link to purchase at Eventbrite is on the home page of our website.

If you purchase in advance, check in at the entry tent to either display the e-ticket from your phone or scan a printed copy. You may skip to the front of the line if you purchased in advance.

  • Do the Exhibitors accept cash, check, charge, or a combination?

All exhibitors at the Festival, including Food Vendors, are independent contractors. Most accept credit cards and some may also accept checks, depending upon their individual policies.

  • Does the Festival go on rain or shine?

Yes! We would only close on day due to an act of God such as a lightning storm or tornado. In such a case, we will not refund any tickets purchased in advance. In the unlikely event of having to close, we will do our best to post an update on our website and social media pages.

  • I am interested in becoming an Exhibitor at this show. What do I need to do?

Great! Please go our Exhibitor Website, which is www.craftproducers.com to find information and applications. Or, feel free to email us at info@craftproducers.com or call our office during office hours at 802.489.6650. Please be understanding that starting Wednesday during week of the show we won’t be responding as quickly since we’ll be on site at Lake George for the show.

  • I'd like to see a list of all the exhibitors (or a list of food vendors, or a list of live music, or a list of activities for children). Where can I see that?

It’s all here on the website under the respective menus. Please note that when we have late applicants or last minute changes, the details may change. However, for a period of time before and after the show, you should be able to check the Art & Craft Exhibitors page for photos and links for your favorite Artisans. And, as always, if you are trying to track someone down and can’t find them easily, email us at info@craftproducers or call our office during office hours at 802.489.6650 so we can help you.

  • Is smoking allowed inside the Festival?

No, as per the Village of Lake George and their rules for the Charles R  Wood Park.

  • Is there a charge for the Live Music in the Dining Tent?

No! The live music is FREE inside the dining tent. Grab your lunch and enjoy the bands in the comfort of the large tent or outside if weather is nice.

  • Is there Free parking for the Festival?

No we do not have an option to provide free parking for the Festival. But there is plenty of parking by meter at reasonable prices close to the Festival, as well as public lots for a reasonable daily rate. You can also plan ahead to park at the Lake George outlets and take the RED TROLLEY, which is operated by the Greater Glens Falls Transit. Click here for more information.

  • What are the bathroom facilities like at the Festival?

The Village of Lake George maintains a beautiful, permanent building of facilities on the park grounds which our patrons use during the Festival.

  • What are the Festival Dates and Hours?

In 2024, the Festival dates are August 2-4, and the hours are 10am-5pm Friday – Sunday.

  • Where is the Festival venue?

The address is the Charles R Wood Park, also known as Festival Commons, at 17 West Brook Road, Lake George, NY 12845. The park is located on the South side of the village at the corner of Route 9 and West Brook Road. The park is behind Fort William Henry a short walk from Beach Road and the Million Dollar Beach.

  • Who are the Festival organizers and whom does the Festival benefit?

Craftproducers is from Vermont just two hours away, and we have been organizing shows of this type for many years. Ours is a private company and we aim to provide great events which include excellent opportunities for our participating Artists and Vendors to sell their handmade work. Check out our other shows and thank you for your interest in this one!
